Job Description
Purchasing Project Coordination and follow up on deliverables
- such as:
- Coordinate all purchasing activities within projects to secure purchasing project deliverables such as meeting timing, quality, and cost prerequisites. Ensure that purchasing demands are fulfilled and that the purchasing function is effectively represented in cross-functional teams.
- Lead all global and local purchasing activities within the project.
- Direct purchasing activities to support project deliverables in terms of time, cost, and quality.
- Participate in Project Management Group meetings including reporting risks and/or deviations
- Follow up and monitor purchasing deliverables - ie time plan, cost, investments, quality, sustainability, etc. Fulfill gate targets for purchasing set by the project team.
- Lead New Project meetings and ensure responsible purchasing organization is appointed prior to Development Gate.
- Ensure all prototypes needed are ordered according to plan
