Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) implements the residential care plans for each client/resident and performs all general nursing duties to enhance the physical, mental, and social care of the clients/residents within the LPN scope of practice.

EDUCATION/PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:
Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma with practicing membership in College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC and two years of recent related experience in gerontological, mental health, psychiatric or community nursing.

Experience with case management.

Current occupational first aid and CPR certification.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention course preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
Negative Tuberculosis test results.

Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
