Your Opportunity:

Unit 5G4 –Pediatric Medicine is an 18-bed unit accepting patients from birth to 17 years of age. Patient populations on 5G4 may include general pediatric medicine, neurology, metabolic, nephrology, pulmonary/respiratory, mental health and overflowing oncology, hematology, surgical and cardiac patients. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the 5G4 Licensed Practical Nurse provides leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for the mentioned populations under both, University of Alberta Hospital (UAH) and Stollery Children’s Hospital, policies, and procedures. The License Practical Nurse practices to full scope as defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
