Maintenance Mechanic
Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Mechanic is to carry out maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance (PM), and equipment modifications related to production processes and facilities. This is accomplished by following proper food safety and health and safety procedures, as well as maintenance administrative procedures (e.g., filling out work orders and PM information).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) assigned in a timely manner and use Computerized Maintenance Management System to log all planned, reactive and emergency activities.
- Repair and capture detailed root cause and countermeasures of breakdowns and communicate effectively to management and peers.
- Ensure effective and timely on-floor support to the maintenance department members, including regular, off-shift and weekend coverage as required.
