Job Description
Become a Library Technician at Northern Lights College, delivering exceptional library services during a temporary 35-hour-per-week position until December 2026. Assist students with their research and library needs.
In this critical role reporting to the Director of Student Services, you will classify and maintain the College’s library collections. Collaborating with library vendors and managing materials will be key, alongside supporting student reference services, citation formats, and overall library operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Classify and manage physical and digital library resources
• Oversee ordering and receiving of library materials
• Ensure invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Develop library guides and support student inquiries
• Cover circulation and AskAway services as necessary

• Diploma in Library and Information Technology required
• Minimum 2-3 years of related experience desired
