Join Sedgman in Vancouver, BC, as a Senior Legal Counsel, guiding our Mining & Minerals sector with your extensive legal expertise. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful project delivery through effective legal risk management.
In your role, you will act as the primary legal advisor for North American projects, focusing on engineering and construction law. Your responsibilities will include contract negotiations, compliance checks, and supporting dispute resolution efforts. Mentorship of junior staff will also be a key aspect of your leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as legal advisor for North American contracts
• Provide actionable legal advice for construction projects
• Review and comply with contract requirements
• Draft and negotiate necessary contracts and amendments
• Assist in governance and legal compliance training

• Bachelor of Law and 8+ years of Bar membership
