Job Description
Take charge as the Lead Chief Operating Engineer at IRCM, ensuring seamless operation of critical electromechanical systems. Focus on maintenance, repairs, and team leadership.
Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, you will manage the functionality of heating, cooling, and water systems while ensuring rigorous adherence to safety protocols. Your leadership role involves supervising engineers to improve performance, safeguard equipment, and maintain service quality within the IRCM facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise team and provide daily problem-solving support
• Maintain equipment reliability through preventive maintenance
• Plan and coordinate repair work with external contractors
• Engage in improvement projects to optimize energy use
• Operate and maintain Class 3B thermal plant systems
Requirements:
• Diploma in Stationary Engineering (D.E.P.)
• 5+ years’ experience in building mechanics
