- Monitor and maintain database maintenance plans for backups, index rebuild/defragment, and database statistics
- Databases shrink operations, DBCC commands
- Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues
- Implementation of Query store, table partitioning, always encryption
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Resolving SQL server Performance bottle necks (100% CPU, Memory, Disk I/O)
- SQL Server Installation, Upgrades, Migrations and Configuration
- Install database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary
- Maintain database documentation as required
- Maintain and administer database security access
- High Availability strategies for MS SQL environments (always on, clustering, log ship...
