Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Description:

To run both flat (2D) and tube (3D) CNC laser cutting machines. This role also supports general shop activities including housekeeping, basic maintenance, material preparation, and unloading and sorting finished parts. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a team, and is adaptable, with a focus on supporting production efficiency and throughput. Set up and operate laser cutting programs daily; Adjust laser parameters such as alignment, head and nozzle changes, lens cleaning, and cutting speeds to ensure high-quality parts at the best possible efficiency; Prepare and stage raw materials; load and unload finished components; Diagnose issues and carry out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and scrap; Accurately document completed jobs, scrap, laser issues, and other required production records; Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and complete inspection documentation; Keep the work area clean and or...
