LAC Storage SCADA Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
SCADA Architecture & Engineering
Design and review SCADA architecture for BESS projects, including networking topology, server configuration, and communication protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, DNP3, OPC UA)
Define and validate communication interfaces between BMS, PCS, MV skids, and remote/local control centers (SCADA to CCC / dispatch)
Prepare and review technical specifications for SCADA systems and fiber optic networks
Evaluate and approve engineering designs from Client EPC contractors and third‑party integrators, ensuring compliance with interoperability and communication protocols
Support supplier evaluation and RFQ/clarification processes; provide technical responses to vendor queries
Commissioning & Site Execution
Lead and coordinate commissioning of SCADA and control systems on-site, including pre-commissioning checks (FAT/SAT support), signal verification, and interoperability testing
Train and guide site personnel and end users ...
