Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and use floor cleaning equipment in the shop including welding area and walkways to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Remove metal dust and debris generated from welding and preparation areas.
- Empty general and scrap metal waste bin and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
- Clean locker rooms, lunch room including appliances and counters.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies.
- Quickly respond to and clean up non hazardous spills (e.g. water, oil and other leaks, if any.)
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, exits and outdoor areas near the shop including yard and parking lot.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists for daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
- Report any safety hazards, damage or required repairs to supervisors. <...
