Job Description
Become part of the team at the General Assembly 2026 with Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation as a Laborer or Cook Helper. Experience in camp setup and cooking is essential.
Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation is seeking a Head Laborer, four Laborers, and four Cook Helpers for the General Assembly 2026. Laborers will set up and clean camp, use power equipment, and assist in food preparation. Cook Helpers will support the kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness while gaining experience in outdoor cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and clean camp for the assembly
• Use power saws and propane stoves for food prep
• Assist Cooks with meal preparation tasks
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Camp at the site from June 5th-7th
Requirements:
• Basic First Aid certification
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Flexible hours and responsible work ethic
