Laboratory Technologist

Job Overview

The Government of Nunavut is hiring a Laboratory Technologist to work at the Qikiqtani General Hospital (QGH) in Iqaluit. This role will report to the Laboratory Manager and deliver Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, Mycobacteriology, and Specimen Receiving/Processing Services for the hospital and surrounding health agencies.

Compensation and Benefits

Full‑time, permanent positions include recruitment bonuses: $3,000 on start date, $3,000 at 6 months, $5,000 at 1 year, and $7,000 at 2 years of service. Indeterminate or Job Share Laboratory Technologist positions earn a Tier One premium allowance of $10 per hour.
