Labor Relations Officer
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Oversees all LR related activities for their respective site (Monthly Labor Management Meetings with the Union, Case Conferences for Labor Cases, Admin Cases, CBA Negotiations). Drafting of Notices to Explain and Notices of Decisions concerning rank and file associates. Presides unit level grievance meetings. Responsible for the maintenance of all labor-related documents and information of all administrative cases. He/She is responsible in gathering/collecting facts and records required for labor relations proceedings such as grievance and arbitration, performance issues, disciplinary actions. Accommodates consultations from line management that concerns administration of the CBA, Code of Discipline and LR related policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / COMPETENCIES
- Graduate of Political Science, Legal Management or any Behavioral Science courses
- At least 2 years of experience in handling employee-cases
