Lab Technician

Position Overview

Designs, constructs, validates and implements new and refurbished sterilization, sanitization, emissions and monitoring systems. Directs operation of the sterilization or sanitization of products. Ensures test samples and procedures are in compliance with internal and external requirements. Monitors water systems for contamination. Writes and reviews documentation for new and current test procedure and technical reports related to laboratory equipment, products and/or processes. Investigates out of specification product results, contamination incidents and determines appropriate resolutions including product disposition. Sets and reinforces product hygiene standards for the organization.
