We are hiring a Market Lead in Krestova, BC, to manage weekly markets in Nelson and Castlegar. Focus on delivering products, setting up displays, and providing outstanding customer care.
This role is vital for our farm operations and requires a commitment to a full season. Candidates should come with a background in agriculture, food handling, or customer service. This position offers both full and part-time employment options based on market scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport products safely to the markets
• Set up and maintain product displays
• Engage with customers to provide service
• Handle cash and maintain market supplies
• Participate in farming tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Experience in agriculture or food service (1+ years)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 22kg (50lbs)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean record
• Basic English skills required
