Job Description
Join Kiwewin in the role of Case Manager at the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre. Your mission will be to assist individuals in crisis and support them toward sustainable housing solutions.
In this position, you will focus on assessing incoming calls, managing communication, and providing tailored support to participants at risk of homelessness. A Human Services diploma or degree, along with experience in mental health, substance abuse, and community resources, is essential. Strong communication skills and a valid Class 5 Driver's License are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage high volumes of incoming calls
• Provide referrals to community agencies and resources
• Update and maintain participant files accurately
• Support immediate participant/landlord issues
• Maintain confidentiality of participant information
