Job Description

KIDVENTURE, Summer Day Camp Counsellor (1 - Temporary Full Time; UP TO 40 hours/week; June 25-August 30, 2026) The Town of Wasaga Beach is seeking a creative, energetic and self-motivated team player to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Summer Day Camp Counsellor.

  • ( Hours and days of work are subject to camp registration numbers and operational needs ) General Responsibilities:  Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, Camp Counsellors will work as part of a team who are responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of programs to campers 4 to 12 years of age.
  •  Camp Counsellors will engage with the campers in a variety of recreation activities by maintaining staff to camper ratios ensuring safety.


    The successful candidate(s) will be required to communicate effectively with campers, parents, the community and Town staff.
