KIDVENTURE, Summer Day Camp Counsellor (1 - Temporary Full Time; UP TO 40 hours/week; June 25-August 30, 2026)
The Town of Wasaga Beach is seeking a creative, energetic and self-motivated team player to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Summer Day Camp Counsellor.
Hours and days of work are subject to camp registration numbers and operational needs
General Responsibilities Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, Camp Counsellors will work as part of a team who are responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of programs to campers 4 to 12 years of age. Camp Counsellors will engage with the campers in a variety of recreation activities by maintaining staff to camper ratios ensuring safety. The successful candidate(s) will be required to communicate effectively with campers, parents, the community and Town staff.
Qualifications
Minimum age 16;
High school diploma and previous leadership training preferred;
