As a Youth Advisor, you'll report to the Manager of the Kanikonriio Child & Youth Programs, delivering both direct and indirect services to children aged 0-18. Your work will focus on assessing needs, developing care plans, and facilitating programs that encourage self-esteem and connection to culture. You will also respond to crises and collaborate with schools and families for better outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create culturally relevant programming for youth
• Provide immediate support during mental health crises
• Develop and follow through on safety plans
• Network with community partners for resource sharing
• Engage schools to enhance support for youth
Requirements:
• College diploma in related disciplines
