(Junior to Senior) Transmission Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
Detailed design of transmission and or distribution projects, voltage ranging from 14.4kV to 500kV which could include transmission overhead or underground lines, support structures replacement, crossarms and crossings.
Prepare detailed engineering calculations, bill of materials and design packages for transmission and distribution projects
Developing PLS-CADD models for transmission lines using LIDAR data
Designing Wood, FRP and Steel Pole structures using PLS-Pole
Travelling and visiting to projects sites as required
Act as an Engineer of Record on projects
Provide mentorship and direction to junior staff in the delivery of projects
Performing tasks allocated by Project Manager and Management
Qualifications
Required:
Post Secondary diploma or degree from a recognized electrical technology or engineering institution.
Engineering degree and registration with EGB...
