Position Overview
AECOM is seeking an experienced Junior Geotechnical Engineer to work in our Lima, Peru office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in bearing capacity, slope stability analysis, settlement and seepage assessment using geotechnical specialized software (e.g., GeoStudio, SLIDE, PLAXIS).
- Organize, review, and prepare information of soil tests for analysis and processing.
- Prepare stratigraphic profiles, geotechnical sections, and instrumentation plans in programs such as AutoCAD.
- Conduct high-level communication and collaboration with the full design team.
- Draft geotechnical reports and technical documents under the guidance of a senior specialist.
- Develop projects that require ingenuity and creativity.
