Junior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Port Elizabeth team, Capture and reconcile financial transactions including sales, purchases and expenses in accordance with company processes Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of trial balances Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including supplier invoices, customer billing and follow up on outstanding payments Assist with VAT, and other statutory submissions to SARS Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards Support payroll processing and statutory submissions (PAYE, UIF, SDL) Monitor cash flow and prepare bank reconciliations Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules Assist in monitoring raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring accurate costing of products Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis as and when requir...
