Jr. Sous Chef – Pastry
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in daily pastry and bakery operations.
- Prepare pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, viennoiserie, and bakery items as per brand standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of products.
- Handle production planning and inventory control for pastry ingredients.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness as per SOPs.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
- Monitor wastage control and cost management.
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for smooth functioning.
- Ensure timely preparation for bulk orders and store requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Pastry & Bakery operations.
- Experience in premium bakery, café, QSR, or hospitality brands preferred.
