Journey Certified Pipefitter

Overview

Journey Certified Pipefitter (West of Cold Lake, Alberta). This is a camp-based, full-time maintenance position at the Cenovus Foster Creek facility. Shift is 7 on / 7 off with 12-hour days. Travel allowance available.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities on tanks, vessels, boilers, and exchangers.
• Rig components and work in collaboration with other trades.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights; perform blinding, hydro testing, and fit-up operations.
• Work under air and in a camp environment; manage travel to and from camp (bussing/transport available on-site).

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Journeyperson Pipefitting/Steamfitting ticket. If out-of-province, must have Red Seal ticket, or be indentured in the Alberta apprentice program.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
• Valid H2S Alive, CSTS-2020, Confined Space, and Fall Protection tickets.
