Join the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club Board of Directors

Are you passionate about cross-country skiing, outdoor recreation and contributing to your community?

The Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club (SFNSC) is seeking new Board Members to contribute to the Club’s next chapter. A new strategic plan is being developed and the Board of Directors will be responsible to drive forward strategies and actions to achieve the SFNSC’s bold vision.

What does a Board Member do?

The SFNSC Board of Directors is a group of volunteers responsible for overseeing the governance and management of the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club and its business, Hiawatha Highlands. Board members are expected to attend a monthly board meeting held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7pm. Attendance via Zoom is permissible. Board members are highly encouraged to join one of the many committees of the Board including Operations, High Performance, Facilities, Programs, Safe Sport and Race, where they can contribute their expertise in a more impactful manner. <...
