Job Description

This role is responsible for performing janitorial duties to ensure The Salvation Army’s facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner in accordance with the applicable standards and requirements. The role contributes to the broader mission and values of The Salvation Army, upholding standards of service that reflect its spiritual and social commitment to the community.

Accountabilities

Janitorial cleaning of the Resource Centre - Daily

• Clean and wash Shelter Rooms 101, 102, 103 and hallway washrooms and showers, floor and bunk mats, 1st floor Staff washroom and all shelter floors including side entrance and office, empty all garbage.
• Clean shelter kitchen floor, counters and sinks, side entrance door windows, Office windows, client laundry room counters, floors and lint catchers, clean and disinfect all counter surfaces, doors and door handles, replace toilet paper and towels.
