Job Description
**Description**We're looking for a freelance **IT Helpdesk / IT Support Specialist** to support a small remote team.We use a mixed-OS environment (**macOS, Windows, Linux**) and several cloud tools (**Google Workspace, Box, Jira**).
Your role will be to handle day-to-day support needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure users can work smoothly.This is an **as-needed hourly contract**, not a fixed-hours position.
**Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support (Level 1-2)**- Troubleshoot issues on **macOS, Windows (7-11), and Linux**:- Drivers, updates, profiles, permissions- Office apps, browsers, printers- Networking issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS)- Support and administer:- **Google Workspace** (accounts, delivery issues, Drive permissions, MFA)- **Box** (permissions, sync errors, collaboration)- **Jira** (access issues, permissions)- New user setup: configure laptops, apps, accounts, and required security settings.
- Support legacy/internal tools when needed.
