The Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) is a uniquely positioned Indigenous organization dedicated to enhancing the economic, social, and cultural well-being of Inuvialuit beneficiaries through the implementation of the historic Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA). Established in 1984, IRC operates from its headquarters in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, and represents the collective interests of six Inuvialuit communities. With over 180 employees and a broad mandate spanning land stewardship, investment, economic development, health, education, and cultural preservation, IRC has become a key institution in the western Arctic.
