The project will emphasize CFD prediction and validation of NOx emissions in gas turbine engines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare combustion chamber geometry using ANSYS CAD tools.
- Mesh geometry using ANSYS meshing tools.
- Review NOx prediction models in open literature and compare them to models implemented in ANSYS Fluent.
- Perform combustion CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent with a primary focus on predicting NOx emissions.
