Role and Facility Information
The Department of Medicine at Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) is recruiting a general internist to manage complex inpatients. The role combines clinical care, teaching, and quality improvement. Responsibilities include new consults, MRP rounding, and working on high acuity/monitored care units (MCU). The internist will cover critical care skills for MCU, cardiology telemetry, and general internal medicine. On average, the call sees 3–5 new patients per day with 12–15 patients to round on. The position also staff the IM Rapid Access Clinic (RAC). Work includes a fee-for-service and MOCAP model. Separate hospitalist services cover the majority of other admitted medical inpatients with collaborative partnerships.
