Role and Facility Information

The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center is looking for a Clinical Respirologist for a period of one year.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of the Respirology group practice, and will provide inpatient and on‑call services. Some of the existing services for Respirology include a pulmonary function lab, sleep lab, and access to bronchoscopy.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital has inpatient service coverage on an internal medicine unit run by the GIM MRP group as well as hospitalist units. There are also multiple internal medicine subspecialty groups, including nephrology, neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases services.

Qualifications

• Passed the Royal College Examination in Internal Medicine & Respirology.
• Demonstrated evidence of sufficient clinical experience in all areas of Respirology.
