Job Description
Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer – Prince George, BC WSP is seeking a highly motivated intermediate geotechnical engineer to join our Ground Engineering and Materials Team in Prince George, BC. The role blends field assignments with office-based analysis and design on a wide range of geotechnical projects throughout British Columbia and the Yukon. Relocation and accommodation support is available for candidates moving to Prince George.
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in field programs including borehole drilling, test pitting, in situ testing, instrumentation installation, and construction monitoring.
Analyze geotechnical and geological data to develop recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, pavements, and slope stability.
Prepare clear, defensible technical reports such as investigations, design briefs, and construction documentation.
