This position reports to the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of control systems in a safety-sensitive pulp and paper environment. You'll have the opportunity to work independently while managing tasks effectively and prioritizing assignments under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair process control instrumentation
• Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance regularly
• Service control valves and emission monitors
• Use computer diagnostics for process monitoring
• Clean and perform routine maintenance work
Requirements:
• BC Journeyperson and/or Interprovincial Red Seal certification
• Experience in safety-sensitive industrial environments
