Job Summary:
The Inspection Trainee in Bonnyville, Alberta will assist Operators in the inspection and repair of used tubular goods and is responsible for pipe handling, cleaning and inspection and repair of used tubular goods, including drill pipe.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assisting Operators in the utilization of Wellhead Isolog, Wellchek, and Classifax Sonoscope Isolog units. Thread inspection Magnetic Particle Inspection Cleaning and repair of pipe threads Drifting and sorting of tubulars Removal and application of thread compounds Coupling removal and replacement Equipment set up and tear down Unit calibration Basic unit maintenance General housekeeping and shop cleanup Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process ...
