Industrial Engineer

Johnson Controls (global leader in building systems) is looking for an Industrial Engineer on a contract basis.
What will you do?
The Industrial Engineer will focus on optimizing complex processes and systems within manufacturing operations to improve efficiency and productivity through cost initiative projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the updates of the line's Current Value Stream Maps (VSMs), identifying improvement opportunities, prioritizing action items, and leading implementation through Kaizen events or continuous improvement projects.
Update and maintain the plant layout, improving process flow accordingly.
Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Utilize statistical methods and Lean principles to develop and implement process enhancements.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to establish best practices and standard operating procedures.
