Position Overview

Under the direction of the supervisor/manager and in conjunction with WRHA Indigenous Health, the Indigenous Support Navigator is responsible for: Acting as a culturally safe resource for Indigenous patients and their families entering Winnipeg Regional Health facilities for health care (including emergency care). The incumbent will receive enquiries from patients and direct them to appropriate internal and/or external programs or resources. They will deliver excellent customer service and provide resource information for enquiries as received.
