Job Description
Lead Indigenous learning initiatives as the District Principal for Indigenous Learning, collaborating with the District Learning Team and Indigenous Education Council. Champion justice, equity, and success for Indigenous learners district-wide.
As a vital member of the District Learning Team, the District Principal will enhance the educational experience for Indigenous students. Collaborate with principals, teachers, and Indigenous communities to foster a culture of engagement and support. This role focuses on implementing strategies that reflect the Board's goals, emphasizing evidence-based practices in Indigenous learning and Truth and Reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support learning agenda alongside school leadership and staff
• Guide the NLPS Strategic Plan for improved student outcomes
