Shape future leaders by teaching Law, Reconciliation, and Decolonization at the Common Law Section. This part-time professor role emphasizes intercultural training and Indigenous legal frameworks.
In this position for the Winter Semester of 2027, you will lead discussions on crucial topics such as the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action #28 and UNDRIP. You will also focus on developing students’ competencies in dispute resolution, human rights, and anti-racism through a comprehensive curriculum prepared in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures on Indigenous and Aboriginal law
• Develop training modules for intercultural competency
• Prepare assessments and course materials effectively
• Inspire students to apply legal principles critically
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.B. required
• Membership in the Law Society of Ontario
