Job Description

Teach AN229: Indigenous Peoples of Canada: Contemporary Issues this Winter 2027 at Wilfrid Laurier University. Utilize your expertise to inform students about vital Indigenous social and political matters.
This in-person lecture course is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00-11:20 AM, aiming to deepen understanding of Indigenous issues. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree, with preference given to PhD holders and those with specialties in anthropology or similar disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures focusing on Indigenous sociocultural and political contemporary issues
• Engage a class of around 70 students in critical discussions
• Assess student assignments and provide detailed feedback
• Contribute to the curriculum through collaborative efforts
• Create an inclusive environment for diverse learners
