Import-Export Control Specialist

Overview

Reporting to the Import - Export Permit Manager, the Import-Export Control Specialist is responsible for administering and sustaining CANDU's'export-import control and licensing program with Global Affairs Canada and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission as well as any other intergovernmental agencies in Canada as relates to the establishment, reporting and document control for the Company's'exports permits and licenses required for the transfer of controlled nuclear equipment, parts, and technical data/technology.

• Client‑driven subject matter expert in the field of export‑import controls and licensing on behalf of a global nuclear company, or other similarly regulated field in energy or defence.
