We at SD48 are looking for a creative educator with a B.C. Teaching Certificate and strong background in Humanities and ELL teaching. This role involves collaboration with fellow educators to design inclusive instruction tailored for diverse learners, employing a variety of technologies and teaching styles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Humanities lessons for Grades 8-10
• Co-plan and co-assess with fellow educators
• Foster student reflection on personal interests and career opportunities
• Utilize technology for classroom and instructional efficiency
• Advocate Indigenous ways of knowing in instruction
Requirements:
• B.C. Teaching Certificate is mandatory
• University qualifications relevant to Humanities
