Housekeeper

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the environment and catering services meet the needs and expectations of Patients, Visitors and the Ward team. The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. He/she will be responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities and services in the ward area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance services.
• Carrying out other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.
• Monitoring quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.
