HIL Commissioning Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for setup, configuration, and commissioning of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems for ECU testing and validation.
Responsibilities- Configure and commission HIL systems (dSPACE, ETAS, NI)
- Integrate ECUs with HIL rigs and validate connectivity
- Develop and execute test cases for system validation
- Perform signal mapping, I/O configuration, and fault simulation
- Debug issues in hardware, software, and communication (CAN, LIN)
- Support automation using tools like CANoe, ControlDesk, or TestStand
- Collaborate with development and validation teams
- Experience in HIL setup and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of ECU systems and automotive networks (CAN, UDS)
- Familiarity with tools: dSPACE / ETAS / NI / CANoe
- Basic programming/scripting (Python , C , or CAPL )
- Understanding of embedded systems
