Heavy Duty Mechanic or Truck Transport Mechanic
Job Description
Looking for a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic.
* Working in heavy duty shop on transport equipment.
* Road calls for field work.
* Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing
* Facilitate safety inspections
* Repair/replace equipment when appropriate
* Assess equipment to see if they require to be sent out for repair
* Recognize and report faults or malfunctions on all company equipment
* Coordinate with other maintenance staff to determine priorities for equipment repair
Must live in Thompson or be willing to relocate to Thompson
A combination of apprenticeship Level 3 and experience may be considered.
Business hours: Monday to Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
