Job Description
You As a Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator Will
- Be responsible for safety orientation, job site inspections, onsite first aid assessment/treatment and accident/injury reports
- Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance to safety procedures and raise issues to resolution
- Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and take necessary measures to correct them
- Review subcontractors’ pre‑construction safety submittals
- Review and file subcontractors’ weekly safety submittals
- Organize and conduct training programs including WHMIS, fall protection, personal protection equipment, CPR/first aid
- Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project health and safety statistics
