Rimbey Long Term Care is an 84 bed unit located in a rural setting where Health Care Aides work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses within an interdisciplinary team environment to provide client and family centered care. This environment is suitable for candidates who have a strong interest and skills in providing care to the elderly client, including those diagnosed with Alzheimer Disease or other dementias.Rimbey enjoys the best of all worlds by maintaining its small town friendly lifestyle and still has access to three major cities: Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton, about 2 - 3 hours from town. The community is nestled in the scenic Blindman River Valley amongst the rolling hills which border the Rocky Mountains.
