Drive safety initiatives as a Health and Safety Officer with a leading construction firm in the Greater Toronto Area. Ensure adherence to OHSA standards and promote on-site safety.
In the role of Construction Safety Officer, you will be pivotal in monitoring construction site safety and health compliance. Your responsibilities include conducting inspections, risk assessments, and training workers on various safety protocols. The position requires a deep understanding of OH&S regulations and the motivation to achieve NCSO Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect site equipment and processes for safety hazards
• Conduct Health & Safety Orientations for site workers
• Develop and review OHS policies and job hazard assessments
• Enforce risk assessments and preventative safety measures
• Assist in incident investigations when needed
