We are currently recruiting for a detail orientated, quality focused, passionate team player to fill a 4 month contract position of Harvest Cellar Hand for Culmina Estate Winery.
At Culmina, our winemaking philosophy revolves around two principles: gentle handling of fruit and minimal intervention of wine. We employ a combination of traditional practices and leading-edge technologies to preserve the beautiful, natural character of our wines.
The role as Harvest Cellar Hand you will work closely with our Winemaking team in the creation of our award-winning wine. Key responsibilities and duties are as follows:
Grape Processing: Grape Reception, Sorting, Destemming, Crushing, and Pressing
Fermentation Management: Inoculations, Nutrient Additions, Sampling, Pump Overs, Punch Downs, Sugar Monitoring, and Digging Out of Fermenters
Cellar Work: Barrel Work, Racking and Product Transfers
