Job Description
Engage in hands-on volunteer activities focused on cleaning at an animal shelter. Ideal for groups, this project primarily takes place during weekends or evenings.
As a volunteer, you'll join a team of 2 to 4 people to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment at the shelter. Responsibilities include cleaning various surfaces—walls and windows, as well as assisting with sorting tasks. Flexible scheduling allows for contributions at preferred times, especially on weekends.
Key Responsibilities: • Clean and maintain shelter surfaces • Assist with tidying and sorting tasks • Work effectively with a small group • Promote an inviting atmosphere for shelter animals • Maintain high standards of cleanliness
Requirements: • Must be legally of age to volunteer • Agree to background or police check • Ability to commute to the shelter location • Additional requirements may apply • Commitment to helping animals in need
